Is it safe to share my UPI ID in a QR?

Yes — a UPI ID is only used to receive money, like sharing your phone number for payments. Never share your UPI PIN, which is entered privately in your own app.

Is my UPI ID uploaded anywhere?

No. The QR is generated entirely in your browser; your details are never uploaded.
